Cisco 3560 is an array of fixed configuration and enterprise class switches that are present in configurations like Gigabit Ether net and Fast Ethernet. This series includes Cisco pre-standard Power over Internet and IEEE 802.3af facilities. Small office environments find this series specifically useful as an access layer because it combines 10/100/1000 and PoE configurations and also enables the deployment of applications such as IP telephony, video surveillance and remote video kiosks.

The 3560 V2 – Next Generation Switch

The Cisco Catalyst 3560 v2 Series are next-generation energy-efficient Layer 3 Fast Ethernet switches. These new switches support Cisco EnergyWise technology, which helps companies manage power consumption of the network infrastructure and network-attached devices, thereby reducing their energy costs and their carbon footprint.

The above models of switches come with features such as 48 Ethernet Ports 10/100 with PoE; 1 Rack Unit; 48 Ethernet Ports 10/100/1000 with PoE; compact form factor with no fan; 24 Ethernet Ports 10/100/1000 and 4 SFP based Gigabit Ethernet ports, for example.
